Honestly the episode confused me about who was the criminal who killed the woman in the bathroom but surprised that woman was ran’s mom

Conan spoke so slowly in that part before the opening. Its so jarring.

Conan was really rearing up to knock this guy out in the middle of the restaurant. Like he would've gotten in so much trouble.

I like how they showed Conan powering up his shoes before jumping to look over the stall. Like sometimes they show him jumping thrice his height without the shoes, there is now way he short little legs could do that. (And then he goes and does the same jump without the shoes later in the episode, whatever whatever..)

I sympathize with the reaction, honestly. I had my best friend's mother sneak up on me in the grocery store once probably some time last year - I thought my soul was about to leave my body for a moment when she raised her voice. She was calling out to the butcher I had just walked past, and likely hadn't noticed me. All I wanted to do was leave the store before she noticed how violently I had just twitched. 😅
